Hmm? Why am I posting in this community after 2 years? lol...

saw the link and started reading the old entries in mushroom_circle. ah... the nostalgia.. =PP Seems like everyone's all grown up, busy and spread out in different continents and it's hard to sit down and talk like old times anymore.

hehe...

So what's the plan for Christmas everyone? and have you ever had a dream Christmas celebration? What would that be like?

Haven't written anything in here for a really long time so I thought I'd write a little somethin' somethin'. Actually there's really nothing much to say, so maybe I'll take a page out of Belda's book and recommend a book.

Recently I read Revenge by Stephen Fry, originally published as The Stars' Tennis Balls. It's actually a slightly more modern update of The Count of Monte Cristo, so if you like that this would be a good read. Parts of it just makes you want to read on and on, and the ending is just quite chilling, when you track the big changes in the protagonist.

TONG TONG TONG! *Bel claps two noisy things (??) together*

It's been ages since we had a mushroom gathering. The mushrooms are almost rotten, so come back before everything dies away...

If you would like a laugh, you're welcome to go back to the previous post and have a good laugh. It is still funny everytime I look at it.

Please feel free to share any of your thoughts, please, anything. If it's private and you don't want passing strangers to view it, lock it up so only members can see it. If you don't want members to even see it then never mind. I digress.

Since I have nothing more to say myself other than encourage you guys to post, let me just recommend a book.

During a Psychology lesson, our teacher told us to try this simple test. It's really funny. So why don't you guys go ahead and try it.

First, take out a piece of paper

Then, draw two lines and divide it into four squares.

On the top left hand square, write down your favorite color. Write at least 3 adjectives/words you can think of to describe that color.

Once that is done, move to the top right hand square. Write down your favorite animal. and write at least 3 words to describe that animal.

Next, on the bottom left hand side, write you favorite body of water. (Eg: the bathtub, the singapore river etc.) and write three words to describe it again.

After that, move to the bottom right corner. Now after reading this, I want you to close your eyes and imagine "You are in a room. In that room, there is a window and the door. When the window is open, the door is closed. When the door is open, the window is closed."
Write down adjectives you feel when you are in the room.

Lastly, below the four squares, write down your favorite food, and describe it with at least 3 adjectives.

PLEASE DO ALL THIS WITHOUT CHEATING AND LOOKING AT WHAT IT MEANS. That way, you will find it more amusing.

Please post your own results if you do it.

Has anyone tried this out?

I took this friend test quite long ago and got

Hui, you're a Sympathetic Sidekick

No one ever accused you of not having a soft side. And that's why friends flock to your sympathetic ear and well-thought-out advice. You are tuned in to the world around you, and you are always looking for ways to bring people together and enjoy each other's company.

While some people might have one or two close friends, you like to spread your wings and socialize with any number of people. You are open-hearted and free-spirited, making it easy for you to find common ground with anyone you meet. Keep up the good work — everyone could use a friend like you.

Haha..the part about spreading my wings and socializing doesn't sound really like me.

A hundred thousand apologies for abandoning this community. I hope the mushrooms we are sitting on aren't rotten yet.

Well, does anyone knows any good links to personality tests? I don't want stupid ones like.. "are you cool?" or "are you in love?" or some crap like that. Well, if you do have any, paste the link somewhere..

and once there's a link.. I request that you guys take the test and post the results as an entry. Then, tell us what is true and not true about the test you just took. This way, we can learn some stuffs we didn't know about our friend. You know.. like maybe they have a fetish for fat pandas or whatever.

Okay, let's share what you wanna do for Christmas!

Actually, i have never really went out during the Christmas season last time. You can say i have almost no life in the past. XD Suddenly this year, i have so many outings to go to, presents to get for different friends and so many things to do that is. I'M GOING BROKE SOON! HAHAHA!

I'm interested in a lot of the movies this month! Weee! Am i the only one interested in "The Promise"? The trailer looks so cool but my friends went a bit O_O when they heard that i feel like watching it. I'm definitely watching Narnia! (i know i have said this many times...anyway, nt should have done it more than me =P)

Can't wait for my X'mas class outing on the 23rd! We are gonna play, eat and exchange presents on that day! Hmm...wonder who picked my name for the "lucky" draw.

I've just been watching some of the old Disney cartoons like Aladdin and Lion king and stuffs. I realise those shows actually have extremely beautiful love themes that really touches your heart (or at least mine) sometimes.

But sometimes I just wonder if Disney is leading people to become .. naive. Well in a way, things are not that simple, but somehow Disney cartoons makes you think everything is possible. But still, I can't bring myself to dislike any of Disney shows, impossible as they are, they represent a kind of dream. I think watching Disney cartoons is a kind of indulgence for me because they bring you to another world without worries, full of good people and love, highly fantastical and full of dreams that can be achieved.

Some people say Disney is stupid. I say I like the innocence of it. Oh well, so am I being naive or what?
